DSA (Direct Selling Agent)
What it means
Direct Selling Agents, also called channel partners or Lending Service Providers, are individuals or firms that lenders authorise to source and assist loan applications. They are paid a commission by the lender when a loan is disbursed and must follow the lender's code of conduct and RBI's outsourcing and fair practice norms.
A DSA does not lend, approve or hold funds, and cannot charge borrowers a fee. LoansPartner operates as a DSA and advisory partner for multiple lenders and runs a channel partner programme for individuals and firms.
