GST Returns (GSTR-3B)
What it means
GSTR-3B is the summary return showing outward supplies and tax paid. Lenders pull 12 months of returns, often directly from the GST portal with consent, to establish turnover trends and consistency with bank credits.
Regular, timely filing and turnover that matches bank statements are among the strongest signals in a business loan file. Gaps and mismatches are the most common reasons for reduced amounts or rejection.
